sounds like the car that was in Colorado in the late 80's - early 90's.   Had rear window louvers and personalized plates something like AAR1, if I recall correctly.  Pretty sure I have an exterior pic around here somewhere.

Exterior pic would be neat

:2thumbs:  The pic (of a pic) makes it look more white but it was cream color.

So I checked out the car today. The only thing I can say is wow. It's EW1 and has original paint which is in very good shape.

The interior seats were professionally reupholstered in correct vinyl. It has a Rallye dash. Column shift with black bench interior. Interior is original and looks great.

The drivers side lower headlight area is warped like it got overheated. The owner said it was like that when he bought it in 73 from a used car lot.

Extremely straight. Never been hit or painted. All original engine compartment components. A tad of rust in lower qtrs. barely visible. Original stripes. All numbers match. Most paint off fender tags but no rust. Engine compartment dirty. The owner never looked for a broadcast sheet. Non vinyl top car.

Not for sale. But any idea what a car like this would bring? I don't impress easily but I was impressed. The owner was an awesome guy. I drove over in my 71 barracuda vert and we talked for a couple of hours.

I would think column shift bench seat AAR would be pretty rare.  I love those kinda cars.   :rebel:  WIW    :dunno:  But not for sale.   :clueless:

Thanks Guys. That's what I was thinking. I offered 40k but was told that it's going to his Son if something ever happened. I told him I concurred, that is entirely understandable.  :2thumbs: still fun to find something only a couple miles away.
