Josh,
Other than the obvious supply & demand issue, what's the beef on why these are so dang expensive?  Do you if the tooling cost to make them in the stratosphere?  Is it the plasti-chrome coating? I'm wondering if a 3D printer could churn these out at a lower, more affordable price point.  I think you would have more buyers (Gran Coupe owners, and AAR owners & AAR clone owners) that would pop on these if they were even a Ben Franklin less.  just curious.

EB-3 there was a post couple weeks ago on the trims.
Alan commented on the post. I checked it out.
They were on ebay for 149. pair
I bought two pair 298. for our AAR and Gran Cpe conv.
They are great.  I coated them with clear lacquer to protect them.

Yeah we were shocked as to how much they cost also. We looked around and could not find a better price anywhere. The only thing we can guess is only one person is making them and they have decided on the price point that everyone sells them at. We will keep looking and see if we can get the price down on these.

I just talked to my Boss and he is willing to drop the price down to $319.99. It is not much but it is something.

Fast & Josh,
My main inquiry was understanding the supply side of the pieces.  My Gran Coupe is complete; i was just try to help out the next guy that needs a set.  As expensive as they are, i strongly encourage popping on them, as they are a signature item of the Gran Coupe.

Josh - sorry to hijack this thread, my apologies!
