Albertan's are the last true Canadians left. It's too bad the world couldn't take a lesson from then and act as they do. Work hard, play hard, don't ***** and when the chips are down you keep digging. Fort Mac will come back stronger than ever.

Fort Mac is a long ways from Calgary but I feel the pain of all the people involved. This fire will go down as the worst in Canadian history. Experts are saying that this fire will not be out until mother natures takes it out in the coming winter. The effect of man at putting this out has been described as a back yard fire pit that you spit on to put it out. The only positive is that no human lives are lost at this point. Pray for rain......

I thought I saw 1 family that would have happily given their home to save their daughter & she had perished maybe I am wrong , the death toll hs been incredibly low though .
