I was thinking of getting used ones if i could. The Hooker Super Comps were disastrous in install, removal and getting in and out plugs  :swear:. Even the Z-bar has been cut by the previous owner for clearance. Anyway, is there anywhere else, except tti's website, where one could buy them ?

You can buy them at other places like Mancini's but their retail agreement ensures they all have to sell them at full retail price.

Sheldon, do you use TTI headers ? If yes, are they good at clearance and durability ?

Yes: I put my orange car together with Hooker headers that I had already spent about 4 or 5 hours on fixing the poor original port alignment. I had to put wood down on the driveway coming into the garage because they would rub the driveway coming into the garage. They also rubbed on the torsion bars of course. Finally i had enough and installed the TTI's. no more problems.
Hooker has never updated their design over the years and their jigs are worn out. The TTI's are much better designed and executed. I hate paying that much for headers but it's worth it to get rid of the headaches.

I can't believe I started a topic and then never got back to it what a jerk. Sorry about that. I was looking for used ones, hoping to save some money. My search for used ones didn't turn anything up. I put in my order for a set a new ones friday with O2 sensor bungs and evac tubes. They are on the spendy side but when you consider the headaches they will save me it is worth the extra$$.
