Spacer between alt. bracket and eddy heads?

Has anyone here ran a 440 with eddy heads with the stock alt. and brackets? the spacer seems to be to short way to short. Other people say there stock spacers worked fine but mine seem to short. Has anyone here had this problom to? :dontknow:

You can buy a really nice chrome spacer from Mancini :

You have to cut it to size for a perfect fit, but it is really nice......
