I owned one years ago... The wife was cleaning out more of BIGS relics and found this. This battery was one than you could "turn off". Basically kill your car, make it so it could only be stolen by a towtruck. Altho not really marketed as an anti-theft device, I know a bunch of guys that got them for that reason. Most likely because of the technology at the time many would go off and wouldn't go back on, often at very inconvenient times.
I never had any issues with the one I had tho. They gave away many DIE HARD GOLD's as warranty replacements. With todays tech this possibly could work....
