My 72 Challenger in and Video Clip
« on: March 11, 2016 - 08:59:03 AM »
December last year they where looking locally for an classic car to be part of an Music Video clip of and Dutch Group.
I decide to offer my Chally, well they picked it out because of the right look they where searching for.
Well the Video clip is finally officially released.
Here is the link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Vn_t22zJmM if you want to watch it.
The singer only sat in the car, all the driving stuff is done by me
Came out pretty nice if I may say so myself

Very cool, go to 2:29 on the video and you will notice the film (negative) is reversed, everything is opposite. Not sure if this was intentional  or not but interesting.

edl94, yep it was all shot on the island. How is Seattle all tucked in?
Paid to get the car washed for the shooting(that was a waste of money), you should have seen how the car was, after the 1st day of film shooting, because of the dust see picture.
The black hood, was almost orange, the black tire's well, if you want to see how "Goldish" tires would stay on you're car, see pictures. And the next day there was again shooting. I decided to wash the car myself, well that awful sand was everywhere. 3 weeks later I still found spots with that orange colored sand.
Picture with the big tires was next day after sand day. Proud of my Challenger, all clean(from 30ft) in the sun waiting for the film shooting. And the last 2 shots the challenger waiting for the singer to get in and drive away.
And thx for the encouraging words on my car from all others. An lot of effort have been put into it and have it like this and stay like this.

That is cool when will you be in Yellowstone? I will be there in July sometime around the 15th with the RV. If you are going to take an RV into Yellowstone without a camping reservation email me and I'll tell you how to get a spot.  If any of the members end up in Aruba look Alvin up, he and his lovely wife showed us around and we had a great time.

Very nice car. Works well with the sand everywhere. A little Vanishing Pointish. Singers not bad either.

Nice!  Glad you got to get your car in the video, and EXTREMELY happy they let you drive it.

I was offered an opportunity to have one of my cars in a major motion picture, but this is what they told me:

"You must take your vehicle to a specific location.  You must leave the keys in the vehicle.  We will use the vehicle in the movie at our discretion.  When we are finished with the vehicle we will return it to the specified location, and notify you when you can pick it up.  Please note:  Filming could require us to keep possession of your vehicle fro 8 to 10 hours."

My response . . . . . . . "No thank you!"
"If I had all the money I've spent on cars . . . I'd spend it on cars."
