anyone know about German WWII cigarette card books?

So I'm cleaning out my families old house & came across a book I hadn't seen in years, something my dad brought home as a souvenir from Germany.. Apparently it's kind of like baseball cards only war scenes & you would get a car with any tobacco product you bought... If you buy enough of the same brand you can fill all the slots in a collecting book... Well I've got a book the was full till one photo fell out years ago...

Since I'm sure there were thousands of them I doubt it has much value, just a cool item, I would post photos but my scanner died...

Actually I just searched & there are plenty out there & photos are already on the internet  the one I have is apparently early & has the white cover....

Stuff like this is neat, it's a part of real history. Definitely cool
