Daveh -- make certain you clean and tap/chase all the threadings in the heads, as well as bolts, too.... will make installation a breeze. None of the bolts enter coolant passages, but with the exclusion of the 4-outer bolts, the rest are exposed to internal oil mist... you really don't need any chemical applied other than light oil (I use a light spread of trans fluid or light-weight oil, or even silicone spray on the bolts... never any problems with leakage).
Be certain to use a dab of RTV at the 4-outer corners where the end seals and side rail gaskets intersect.
I used to be a Fel-Pro gasket engineer through the 70s-90s... I wrote the instructions that are within most of the FP gasket sets.
