Difference Between

 :wavingflag:

Hello,

I am planning to buy a Dodge challenger SRT 392 or 392 ScatPack with Shaker.

Can anyone tell me the difference between SRT 392 6.4L HEMI V8 - 23K package and SRT 392 6.4L HEMI V8 - 24K package

Also can you tell me which one will be better in terms of performance.

Parameters:
1. 0-60 fastest.
2. Shares same exhaust as HellCat.

I want something exact similar to hell cat, without the supercharger and 707 HP. Can anyone suggest me anything please.

Thanks
Alien.

I don't know the package difference but the SRT will be the closest the the Hellcat. Top of the line options with the bigger brakes and bigger wheels. Better suspension as well.

Scat pack should be faster , with the same 392 engine & a lot less weight

The Scat pack gets you the most bang for the buck. The SRT is loaded with creature comforts, but none of them produce more power.

SRT you get the adjustable suspension and a couple more small bells and whistles, with a 3 year 60000 km warranty. Scat Pack is a lot less money, same power train, but you get a 5year 100000 km warranty, because it is still considered an RT. I know this because I asked which warranty my Scat Pack would have, and my dealer had to get in touch with the district rep, and that was the answer they came back with.

Maybe in 2015, not in 2016. My 16 R/T only has a 60k mi warranty. Changed from the 15.

He is right, but he is talking Canadian warranty and those were km's not miles. From experience I love the way my cat rides on the hi way with the adjustable strut dampening. Make it a great road car.  Scat is a much firmer ride all the time, not just when you want it. They are the better performance bang for your buck though. Wished the shaker came on the SRT models. As a side note bugs plaster themselves nicely on the front of my supercharger thanks to the Center hood vent.
