NBA finals
« on: June 05, 2016 - 09:10:09 PM »
Last week, the game 7 of the Warriors vs. Thunder was recorded as the most watched NBA playoff game ever.

Anyone been watching these finals?

My wife and I were "bandwagoneers" until the Raptors were out.....At least we stopped Cleveland's winning streak and made them work six games instead of four...
I've taught you everything you know.....but I haven't taught you everything I know !

Our family is watching and I guess you could call us bandwagers for Warriers.
But... in defense against that title. It is because my daughter is coming into her own at the same time as them being champion caliber team. She played her D1 high school state championship game up north recently in the Sleep Train Arena and did a drive by of the Oracle Arena.
So I am guessing they will become her lifelong team.

No more a bandwagon

Living in OKC, you bet I was watching... until game 7 happened. :swear: :stomp: :pullinghair: :banghead:

I just couldn't believe we didn't pull off one more win to get to the finals. I seriously thought we had a chance.  :faint:

So was it a record because so many folks wanted to see somebody upset the Warriors?  :dunno:

Agreed on the record viewership. Everyone tuned in to see them fail. Not necessarily wanting them to. But at least see it.

To be clear I am rooting for the Warriors. OKC had them handled but ended up not sticking to a plan that was working. My opinion is they stopped playing as a team. The key players, all great in their own rights started to try and win it as individual players. Less ball movement to set up plays to create the opening. More individual efforts trying to drive to the basket. Warriers D is too good defending the one on one.
That plan was destined to fail...

Ha. Nope.
Just a father that his daughter dragged into the game kicking and screaming.
There is a very fine line between good and great players. Most of it is what is in between their ears...

Tonite's game is looking to be another record breaker on most watched ever.

Just returned from Safeway prepping for the game.
