Is there a washer or something that goes on remote mirror control before it goes thru the door to keep it from rotating on 70 challenger ? ?

I believe it goes on the remote "after" it goes through the door. The clip in the link goes right against the back side of the door panel.

The chrome bezel that screws onto the remote goes on the door panel and the clip goes on the back side of the panel.
