My husband concerned about price. Is there another less expensive set of options, mainly on the rocker arms that would work great, give us the attitude we want out of our car, but be more cost efficient?

You could run with the stamped steel rocker arms with the XE274 cam or upgrade to the ductile iron for more durability and they're cheaper!
Ductile Iron Rockers:

The Comp rollers are nice but overkill IMO for the valve spring pressure on the XE274.

Consider this cam, it's a 3 bolt popular grind as well:

Over 500 requires different springs on the above Cam right?

Yes these two cams, although close in spec, use different valve springs (Lunati uses a lighter spring, but a dual coil). Specs are available online @ manufactures website. Also the Lunati cam complete kit p/n is 10230703K.

That's okay, we are still waiting on someone to help us... We don't want to order the wrong parts. More specifically can I ask the following questions hoping that this will be easier for someone to answer. Planning on ordering the following parts for our car:

Cam: Summit P/N CCA-K21-224-4
Rockers: Summit P/N CCA-1621-16
Magnum pushrods but have to measure length first.
Considering Proform 750cfm carb instead of Edelbrock.

Please tell me thoughts on this at least please!

I agree with the Lunati 703 cam / kit

I use a lot of these rockers http://www.ebay.com/itm/Prw-3244011-Stainless-Steel-1-5-Ratio-Rocker-Arm-System-For-Mopar-383-440-/152128300928?hash=item236b8da780:g:0OQAAOSwzJ5XX1Jf&vxp=mtr
The Iron rockers are awesome also

Order pushrods from Smith bros in Bend Or , they will make them in one day & will be matched for the spring pressure , awesome top deal with too

Proform for sure , shop around , Mancini used to have the best pricing maybe still do

I would use a JP timing chain , top quailty with 7 keyways to dial in the cam http://www.ebay.com/itm/JP-Performance-JP5606T-Billet-Double-Roller-Timing-Chain-Mopar-361-440-3-Bolt-/221716641498?hash=item339f5776da:g:J1gAAOSwPhdVBito&vxp=mtr

Use a Fel Pro 1215 intake gasket , this will block the heat crossover
 I would use Firecore wires
Dist you can get through Roseville or Mancini , no way I would pay $200 for a basically stock dist , you should be able to get the one with adjustable mech advance which you will need .
Oil you really want SL rated oil ,nothing off the shelf is right any more but you can use a good oil such as Castrol with the additive otherwise the cam will fail .
Diff is 2 qts & you need friction modifier id you have sure grip
oil pump you want Melling Only but get the M63HP not the HV if you are using a stock oil pan
Any Parts store will have a 60 amp alt or any rebuilder probably for 1/2 the price unless you have to have chrome

a good quality alternator is important.
some do a lousy job of current and voltage production at idle
