Carpet Size
« on: July 03, 2016 - 08:06:28 AM »
Put carpet in 70 Challenger that I bought 16 years ago(carpet had car for 42 years) The back fits fine but the front is to big around the hump. Took it out and let set in Sun for a day and it is still to big. All I can come up with is there is a difference in the hump from a 4 speed car to auto on column that I have and the one I bought was for a 4 speed. So is there a difference in humps from column and floor shift or did I get a bad carpet ? I'm going to buy new carpet so who is selling the best fitting carpet  ?
thanks

YES...there is a huge difference between automatic and 4spd carpets.

Can't go wrong with either ACC or TrimParts carpets.
