Turn signal switch
« on: July 09, 2016 - 08:31:46 AM »
Installing LED tail lights...I pulled ash tray and couldn't see a switch.   There was nothing attached to the ash tray bracket..My car was rebuilt and I don't know if they relocated???  Does anyone have a pic of what it looks like??  Going to Carlisle and would like to get them working.   Thanks

Are you referring to the "flasher unit" ?

There's two, one for the signals and one for the four ways. One above the column and one on the ash tray. They are plugged into a two prong connector in a "L" fashion.
I've taught you everything you know.....but I haven't taught you everything I know !

Found it.  Thanks,  Tucked out of the way.  I added A/C and it's pretty crowded behind the dash... got it wired up, just need to clean it up.   Hope to meet some members in Carlisle.

If your LED's do not flash right, then you have to reverse the leads to the flasher you just changed out.  If its working fine, you are good.
