Missing Fender Tag
« on: July 13, 2016 - 05:44:29 PM »
A buddy of mine is interested in a 71 Cuda. The car seems real nice but it has no fender tag or build sheet. It`s a 340 4spd car so not real rare. How much value is taken from the car not having either of them? It`s a nice car just trying to put a value on it. Thanks

The vin is a BS23h1 real Cuda. Just trying to find what a car loses in value without the tag and knowing what options are original for the car.

How do you know its even a 4 speed? I assume the numbers match on the 4 speed match otherwise you can't even tell it was originally a 4 speed without the Fender tag and Build sheet? I think it hurts the value alot you can't tell what colors or options it had at all. Maybe 20% or more I would guess???

 :iagree:

It's gonna hurt unless you find someone who doesn't care about that which is like finding a unicorn with a pot of gold.
