Rear carpet stopping point
« on: April 30, 2017 - 07:18:54 PM »

After taking a drive today and with the car in the driveway and having some room to work , pulled the rear seat to check for build sheet and look at metal condition.
Question, is that how far under the seat that the carpet is supposed to go?

That is definitely back further than any aftermarket carpet goes and I don't remember the factory carpet extending that far back either at least on the ones I've had. From what I remember it usually stops just prior to the hooks that hold the seat down.

Thank you,  guess the factory thought if you can't see it why put it in.
That could help if water leaked in , the carpet won't hold the moisture.
