440 HP Manifolds
« on: March 18, 2016 - 03:54:29 PM »
Can anyone provide me with the casting numbers (or pictures) of the correct 440 HP manifolds for a '71 E-body.  I'm not looking for a certain cast date or time.  I'm just wanting to ensure that I purchase a set of 440 HP manifolds that will work in my '71 Cuda.

I am sure all the B and E body big block high performance manifolds are basically the same I have a pair left over from a 1968 440 Charger (1968 castings) that I will eventually use on a 1970 Barracuda. I also have one manifold that is a 1973 casting it looks a little different with some ribs on the side and some bolt holes (for a heat shield?) but it would be a direct replacement for the earlier manifold.

Right 2899879 Left 2951865. While other year manifolds will fit on the engine the head pipe will not bolt on if you are planning on using 71 head pipes.

If you use TTI exhaust they will ask for the manifold #s  so they will bolt up correctly

68 right side is definitely not the same as 70.... And C body left side is different....
