:2cents: The balancer should not wiggle at all and it should not wobble when spinning. It should have an interference fit to the crank nose. I would pull it off and do some measurements.

Thanks everyone, thats what I thought, time to check it and most likely have to replace, dang just when I finally got it running well.
Had one go bad on a 351 ford and it had basically disinigrated the rubber.

in your second video are you moving the balancer or the pulley???

I can clearly see something it moving, and that is not a good thing...but I am not sure its the balancer???

I was definetly moving the balancer, hope its not due to the trust bearing being bad.
The balancer must be metal outer mounted to rubberlike substance then an inner metal core, it seemed.
When pulling on ithe outer metal it would flex. It didnot seem like and in and out movement.
New one to be delivered tomorrow and will start with replacement and inspection after that.

I have no info about the engine build or repairs from the PO's.
It is running real good sine the electronic ignition, Revnnator and new Carter carb, needs a little tweaking but wow from before.
Good riddance points.
Thank you all for info and things to check on this repair.

This will probably also be a good time to install the billet timing marker I bought while things are a little bit out-of-the-way ,
I'm not a big fan of chrome but I do like billet .
Chrome don't get you home .
