You might want to try sending C O D Y a PM I think he's had several cars shipped, and he can definitely tell you of at least one person to avoid.
Yes, he will "truly"suggest to you a place you might want to avoid using in shipping a "vintage" car.   ;)
I've had some friends tell me they bought cars on eBay and shippers bid to deliver afterwards, and it worked out well for them.
I had another friend who bought a roadrunner vert in AZ and needed it shipped here to Chicagoland.  He tried to use Reliable but they jerked him around for several weeks on when they'd pick the car up, he finally lost patience with them and found someone else who picked it up right away and delivered it quickly right to his door, enroute he could check and see where the rig was at thanks to GPS tracking.  Sorry I don't recall who he used but I do know he wasn't happy with Reliables treatment of him.
