Small block motor mounts

Installed stock motor mounts in my 408 and one broke within 10 miles. Installed Schumacher poly-loc, now has vibration at idle. Is there any other choices out there or should I run the stock mount with a torque strap?

I've read good reviews about these. They allow for compression of the mounts to help with vibration but have threaded bolts to prevent them from pulling apart. Some guys make their own using stock mounts, drill and tap holes.

Well there are a number of things here
 1] stock mounts are not as good as in 1970 , the assy line is not using hundreds / day anymore & the batches that are being made welll ....
 the last set I bought had made in India on them !
2] stock mount without a tq strap is a limited time line with disaster at the end often distroying rads fan shrouds & hoses .
3] the sneakiest way to run a strap is to go from the block ear to the cross bolt on the mount with a 1" wide steel strap virtually invisable & just as indestructable .
 You need something better for sure

Mag motors mounts from Mancini on a 408 stroker, 340 6 bbl, and 440 with no issues and no vibration.
