Convertible door glass
« on: August 23, 2016 - 10:26:47 PM »
Is there anyone making convertible door glass for e body's . . . I made the mistake of buying some after market glass only later to discover that the curve of the glass is not correct so it doesn't fit correctly.   :eek4:

Check with Alan. He had door glass at Moparfest but I don't know if it was convertible.

I used AMD. Very happy with the glass. Got the green tint for A/C.

Well that takes care of that, new winter project I see.  Clearly I know what car has to stay in the garage this year and which goes to storage.  Have a list of things to do to the convertible and that is just another that needs completed.   Roseville Dave, Can you get the glass?   :dunno:

Just a thought, but will cost more. For a better color match, you may want to get the full set. Nothing worse than having mismatched glass.  :2cents:

Yeah I'm going to buy both doors and quarter glass as I don't think any of the stuff I have now is correct.  Probably trash it when I get the new stuff . . .

I'm sure the AMD glass is very good....    For my resto on the '68 Charger last year,  I went with Autocityclassic in Isanti Minnesota and we were very pleased.    I just looked on their website, and they offer convertible glass.    Good Luck!
