fabricating linkage for brake pedal....
need to know on stock E body (cuda) how far from the floor does the brake pedal be at, when not being pressed?
furthermore, when fully pressed how far off the floor is the pedal?
(auto trans.)

FWIW my '70 Challenger with manual brakes has the pedal 7" off the floor. With a 15/16" master, the pedal is 4" off the floor with the pedal pressed. My stock brake pushrod is 7 3/8" long. No idea what the measurements would be if you have a power brake car. I believe the pedal pressed dimension would vary with different master cylinder bore sizes.

much appreciated!!
that's probably about the same on all models I would think,
at least it gives me an idea of how long to make the linkage.
thanks
