Intro of Myself

Hi all,
I'm here to get some opinions on a a car I'm looking at.  I'm thinking of getting a 71 Cuda tribute.  The car is a Barracuda with the Cuda fenders, hood, spoiler, billboards, and badges.  The VIN shows it came with a 2 bbl 383, which there weren't a lot made.  My question is, is this car better off being turned back into a Barracuda with it's rare 383 engine or is it worth more as a well done tribute?
I want to make changes to the Cuda I buy, like 4 wheel disc brakes, power windows, tilt column, updated suspension...  Basically things to make the car more enjoyable to zip around in.  I would prefer a real Cuda, but given the mods I want to do I worry about destroying a real 71 Cuda.  Likewise, if this 71 Cuda tribute truely is rare, I don't want to destroy it further.
So, what's your opinion?
Thanks,
Marty
Oh, I owned a 71 Barracuda with a 318 back in 1981 and regret selling it 30 years ago.  I currently drive a 2004 Rumble Bee and owned a 2006 STR10 Ram.  I regret selling that as well.

Cuda, Barracuda, yadayada. Your making mods, make it yours. Personally I like the round tail light cars.                 :rebel:
