Defrost to Heater box attachment?
« on: September 22, 2016 - 01:27:56 AM »
I have a 74 Cuda with a non-AC heater box.  I have looked everywhere and haven't found any good pictures or parts listings of the attachment method for the defrost duct to HVAC box.  There is a gap there that looks like someone before just used some tape to seal up.  See pic for better explanation.
Does anyone have a picture of the part or know where a person can get it?

I dont think anything covers that gap, others may chime in, my car is original and nothing is there, nor are there any screw holes.

It's been said that the gap is there to draw in some cabin air.  It looks like it's missing a piece but it isn't.

Thanks all, I will clean up the residue from the previous owners tape job and move on!

I concur with all above.
Have had my 74 since 83. Never been touched. Just a big ol gap.
