Could any one tell me if my console came with an ash tray  ? 1970 slap stick console  .I see rear console ash trays on eBay ,But they look a little norrow . Mind has small plastic ribbs at the back .Just looks like some thing should be there ,Would it have been an option ? Thanks

To my knowledge, the 70 consoles had a rectangular hole at the back for the seat belts to stash into.  The ash tray versions are 71-4.
