HP for 400ci
« on: June 24, 2005 - 08:57:57 AM »
I'm currently running a '76 400 in my ebod that I think I'm going to have to live with for awhile.  It is 30 over stock bottom end.  Holley 650, Performer 383 intake, Hedman headers, FBO electronic ignition, stock heads with 3 angle valve job and a "one up from RV" cam.  That's all I could get on the cam specs from the previous owner.  All my buddy and I have done is add the FBO ignition and get it tuned properly.  It runs nicely, chirps the 275/50/15s hitting 2nd with a 727 and 3.23 gear.  How much HP do you guys think I'm making with this set-up?  I'm just curious if I'm making 300 or not.  Also, if anyone has any suggestions for a cam I'm thinking of changing it over the winter if for no other reason than I will know what's there.  I'm thinking K-56 or K-54 as CP seems to like Engle.
