Antenna Removal Question
« on: October 26, 2016 - 06:14:22 PM »
Hello fellow Moparers!

Have a 1973 Plymouth Cuda and I simply want to remove my manual antenna. I'm rotating the upper metal base above the black plastic but it seems like it just rotates and never unscrews, just the antenna itself is rotating nothing else. I'm afraid of unscrewing it more in case I'm doing something wrong or screwing something up - pardon the pun. Any advise?

Thanks!!
Jon

Might have to reach inside and hold the whole thing while unscrewing...
I've taught you everything you know.....but I haven't taught you everything I know !

Thank you, that sounds about right. So I'm thinking the door needs to be open all the way and then you snake your whole hand in?

You can probably get to it with the door open but it's easier if the plastic inner fender liner is removed.  Try reaching through the door first.
