I used Ultraflows on my orange car and I loved them, I tried Super Turbos on the green car but much preferred the Ultraflows. I have never liked Flowmasters but that's personal taste I suppose.

I was really close to pulling the trigger on ultraflows for my 512 but went with super turbos. I have 3" headers running into tti 3" x pipe and super turbos dumping right infront of the rear axle. This sucker is a lot louder than I expected, it sounds awesome though. I was planning on running quiet mufflers and plumbing in cutouts. The difference seems to be mufflers are loud, cutouts are glass shattering  :2thumbs:

Ha, ha. Yup, I never liked dumps very much. I thought I would have to add some bullets or something under the trunk but the Ultraflows were nice out the back by themselves.

I had the flow masters on my old truck with headers and a 340.  In my opinion they sound awesome and got comments everywhere, they are crazy loud outside as well as inside the car.  Driving on the Hiway was horrible.  If I was putting mufflers on a car that was only used for short trips and screwing around I would maybe use them again however if you plan on driving a lot the drone will pound in your head.  When I had them I got pulled over once because the police thought I had no mufflers.  This comes down to personal preference on any make.

I am running the Flowmaster 50 series in the Cuda. I prefer the calmer sound using the tailpipes and tips over running the dumps. I have a set of interchangeable dumps that I can switch out pretty easily, but the car sounds more like a race car than a musclecar. The full exhaust and tips sound more like a musclecar. Absolutely no droning on the highway.

So I retract my statement that the super turbos were loud. I had an exhaust leak, and when I say exhaust leak, I mean my passenger x pipe popped off the header extension without me realizing.  :roflsmiley:

Now it's hooked up and it's almost too quiet for a 600hp big block....cutouts are coming soon
