1970 challenger convertible rear seat upholstery directions

Does any one have a picture of a convertible upper rear seat(back) where the seat cover is hog ringed to the lower part of the frame. I think it goes on the wide horizontal part of the frame but it would have to really stretch the vinyle to reach that far.

No picture but yeah, about 1/3-1/2 way down....

I think I fiquired it out, it could only be attached to the lower of the spring frame where the springs are asttached(indicated by the arrows). To mount it to the wide frame part there would be too much tension on the  vinyl.

Not sure where you got your seat covers but here is how mine turned out when I reupholstered my cuda convertible seats. I got my seat covers from Legendary.

You need to start at the top back bar, attach the hog rings.
Then rub down the material in the front.
I will add, it's a VERY tight fit.

If you have too much foam/padding up top, that will cause problems as well.

Also have legendary covers, I originally had PG Classic Restoration Parts pui? (garbage),less padding, shorter over hang material behind rear upper seat, sides of the rear upper seat too short.  I will try to stretch and attach properly.  Thank you for the pictures
