Hello from Adelaide Australia
« on: December 06, 2016 - 05:52:04 AM »
I've recently imported a 70 Barracuda 383 4 speed. Its been a pipe dream for a while but now a reality. My other rides are a 70 Aussie Valiant Charger inline Hemi 6 triple Weber Carbs with 4 speed. I also have a 68 Dodge Phoenix aka Plymouth FuryIII 4 door Hardtop 383.

Welcome from Sweden! Is the Valiant Charger a Australian model only? Built over there? Nice cars!

Ken,

Yes the Valiant Charger is an Australian model only. Some were exported to the UK and South Africa. I have seen on some web sites that they are in the USA as well but more than likely imported by the owner. They are an A Body construction with Torsion Bar suspension. Its about 300mm shorter than the Barracuda but some 300 pounds lighter. It is 265ci or 4.3ltrs  Mine is doing 300hp with the webers.

Cheers
Damian

I doubt if I'm the envy down here, but I can say there are some better rides than mine. I'm more than happy with what I have.
