Map Light Harness Questions
« on: December 02, 2016 - 11:10:05 PM »
I'm in need of a little assistance regarding the map light harness.

1) I know the switch and light mount below the dash, anyone have a picture showing location or is there a pre-existing screw hole for these?

2) I'm not sure if this harness was modified in the past, but there are some connectors that go to other accessories. The map switch and light need no explanation but what about the other connectors? I know one photo shows a time delay relay.

Thanks
Chris

I did a search and someone was selling this, claiming it is a 70-74 e-body.  :clueless:

It looks like it has some of the same connectors, but photos are a little hard to zoom in on. I'm checking the FSM to try and make sense of this.

Here is the mounting location on a 1970 Challenger. Your switch and light look similar to my parts.

Hey Thanks. My car does not have that trim bezel, it part of the A/C option , right? I'll end up mounting mine directly to the dash.

Two preexisting holes in bottom of dash frame.  One for the screw and one for the locating pin on the plastic housing.
