They are bad ass, but VERY expensive to maintain and repair. I was looking at getting one sometime ago and my cousin's husband is the service manager at a very large Mercedes dealership. He told me that while they are nice cars they can be very expensive to repair especially the retractable top. His advice was to buy the newest one I could afford.

Google up the year of car that is local and look at reviews. What I saw was people buying them and having to dump $10K into them within the first year.
Current Mopar
70 Challenger RT 440-6 EFI, 73 Cuda 416-6 EFI
05 Hemi Durango, 01 Ram 4x4, 14 Ram 2500 4X4, 10 PCP Challenger 6 spd RT, 01 Viper GTS ACR, 52 B3B w/330 Desoto Hemi, 70 Hemi RR (under const)
Past Mopars
9 x Challengers. AAR Cuda, 4 RR, 2 GTX, 4 Chargers, etc... (too many to list)

Ya, with a used Mercedes, I've always heard about expensive repair bills.
But $36K, and they might take 30K, is pretty nice for a $180,000 car.
I would probably have our Mercedes dealer do a check out first.
