71 Challenger Taillight Panel Joint
« on: January 04, 2017 - 11:45:20 AM »
Okay so this is probably a silly question :-\ but what are you folks using to join the 2 halves of the '71 Challenger tail panel?
The one that was on my car is a dented rather badly and as such I found one in really good physical shape just need some paint work the only other issue is the halves are separated. No cracks or bends just not joined any longer. This must be a common thing, what can I use to join them?
They seem like cheap pot metal so I'm not sure welding will work. I know there are epoxies and adhesives and a whole slew of things, but what have you guys used with success?

Yeah I guess I am worried about cracking the emblem while putting it in place.
Maybe I'll just leave it and be super careful. :)
