HP2,

Thanks for your help.  You are making this easy for me.

I understand the sub frame connectors (the set you recommend) are bolt in.  Would it be wise to bolt them in and then have them welding?  No need for a long response as you and others have been so helpful.  Just watched a video on youtube and thats how buzz jones did his.

Im thinking I will install these before I strip the car as I am trying to do everything once and so I am thinking its best to do it now.  Im only 37 so I missed the peace, love, gandha days, but teach history so I understand.

Yes, you could bolt them in and then have them welded at a later date.

This is how I did mine.  I only stitched welded them as extra support for the bolts. four year in....no problems.

The way I did them was to use 1x2" .125 wall tube put a notch where it hits the floor , bend the tube to the contour of the floor & weld the notch , angle the rear to weld onto the end of the subframe & plate the front to weld beside the T bar , the cost is minimal for the material  it is barely visable once installed  , I probably did 25 cars this way
