Installing a Victor 383 - all of the intake bolts go in just fine except 2 due to the bolt hitting the runner during install.
This is the bolt for cylinder 6 and cylinder 3 is the same. Bolt is an ARP 3/8" diam 1-11/16" length
Not sure how to move forward here.
Do I use a grinder or rat tail file to enlarge the hole for the bolt?
Or do I use a shorter bolt? A 1-1/4 bolt goes right in but the thread engagement is IMO marginal so something 1-3/16 to 1-1/2 range.
Or something else?
Thanks.
