Put the car on jack stands or get a set of garbage wheels and tires to swap out if you're just going to let it sit around.

Thanks for the detailed reply. What do you think of Flatstoppers plastic tray to park in-on? Those would be an improvement over a flat surface I guess, but if the weight is on the tire, it still must deform to some extent.
