Advice on lower ball joints
« on: March 01, 2017 - 05:42:40 PM »
I need new lower ball joints, which ones are best and last.
I had the last set from Firm Feel and although it's been 3 years, I only drove the car about 1000 miles and there's play on them.

Well, I'm surprised, but if that happened to me, I wouldn't buy'em from firm feel again.
I've never had a problem with Moog.

X3 for the Moog parts. There's something really off about a "new" set of BJ's that wear out in 1000 miles IMHO!  :nono:

TRW branded parts were the long-time-ago American-made OE parts... MOOG is known for their aftermarket business... both should be good/ok.   I've had the TRWs on forever without any problems.   As of today (year 2017), who knows from what country these parts are coming from.   Regardless, keep them greased!
