Repop console Tony's JUNK Offshore

Tried one of these Tony's consoles for the Cuda... well you judge yourself... console plate and ashtray fitment laughable.. bulging edges.. how can someone make these garbage  no wonder Trump wants the Offshore crap to stay out !

I was selling a few original 4 speed consoles last year in great condition at the show and all day long I caught grief from guys who were telling me what I had was essentially worthless now that repos were available. Glad I held onto them now that I see what the repos really look like. Thanks for sharing this. We almost need a permanent thread with an updated list of repo stuff like this that members should avoid.

I bought a repop from Tony in 2011 or 2012 at the Mopar Nationals.  I brought it back to my vehicle and had a look at it.  The passengers side was all rough and crappy looking like there was a problem with the mold.  I took it right back and asked them about it.  They said sometimes the part doesn't come out of the mold cleanly or it's still warm when it comes out and warps slightly as it cools.  They were very nice about it and gave me a new one.

My original console top plate was in really good shape.  The woodgrain was decent but not nice enough to reuse.  I didn't want to destroy the original woodgrain so I bought a new reproduction.(not from Tony)  The reproduction top plate is HORRIBLE.  The plate itself is WAY too thick and the woodgrain is not even close.  I ended up selling that to someone else later on.  I found another nice original plate with bad woodgrain and used that instead. 

The ashtray does fit a little strange on the reproduction console but it is what it is.  No one is going to be staring at it to notice it.  The factory original top plate fit WAY better then the reproduction.  I did slightly clearance the back edge of the plate so it fit a little nicer.  Mine fits a lot better then what your pictures show.  Overall I'm happy with the new console.  Is it exactly like an original one....NO, but what reproduction part is.

Did you talk to Tony's Parts about the issue?

Even all original parts have fitment issues.

Years ago I bought a repop 4 speed console top plate that fit like a glove on my original console.I got it from PG classics.What vendor did you purchase the top plate from that was horrible?
