A/C wiring question
« on: March 11, 2017 - 07:22:03 PM »
I am back working on my project, a '72 Challenger. Where does the A/C wire come from that goes to the low pressure switch?

I assume the wire from the controls in the dash goes to one side of the low pressure switch and then the other side of the pressure switch is wired to the wire to energize the clutch on the compressor. Correct? That is the way I see it in the service manual.

I have a long blue wire that is in the 4 pin connector that has the reverse light plug with it. The picture below is from the service manual and it shows a dark blue wire coming from Cavity 20, I have no idea what that means.

The connector that I have has a dark blue wire coming out of the #3 terminal. The diagram below does not show a wire from that location.

Thanks!
