Tracking a Cuda
« on: January 25, 2017 - 02:45:35 PM »
Hello, all!

My mother bought a new 1973 Plymouth Cuda and she had to sell it when she started having us kids. I have a copy of the window sticker with the VIN on it. Is there any way I can track where its at/see if it still exists? Thanks in advance! the VIN is BS23-G3B-450989

You can go to http://www.hamtramck-historical.com/foundByVin70.shtml and type in the VIN number.  If Barry has any info on the car, it will show up.  That's a long shot though.  Add in the fact that a 73 isn't one of the more popular years, chances are the car doesn't exist any more.  You used to be able to go to the DMV and they would do a search for you.(for a fee)  Privacy laws have stopped that practice but you could check just to make sure.  There might be some states that will still do the search.

Where did she sell the car? It may still be in the same state or area.

Some more details might help. Where did she sell it? Where did the buyer live? When? What colour, engine, etc., etc. Any detail could trigger somebody's memory. You just never know.
