Yes, that brace.

I welded in a uscartool fender brace already, that's staying put.

I had to cut the braces out on my car, the tires were rubbing on it with compression on the suspension. Just the fender to fender braces, not the structural firewall to shock mount brace. I haven't noticed any issues, and if you rolled the fender lip it would strengthen the wheel opening anyway.

My front lips are rolled and with the 245s, no rubbing at all - fender lip or on the brace. I had 255s up front before and did rub a little at full lock when hitting bumps, but that was before I swapped out the UCAs & maxed the camber (which is still low)....it suspect it wouldnt rub now if I still had the 255s, but dont know for sure.

front leaf mount raised 1" and 1" shorter shackle in the rear.

I would caution you against going too low. I did and the shocks were incorrect for the set up, they bottomed out first.  Make sure your suspension can cycle cleanly and double check your driveline angles.

Dave, I'm having the same issue, what shocks are you using.  I have QA1 adjustables, but they bottom out. 

A-body spindles, Cordoba 11.75" disks, boxed LCAs, poly bushings, 1 1/8" sway bar, .96 Tbars, QA1 single adjustable shocks, stock rear springs and sway bar, 65 C body 8.75 with 3.73 SG, Dr Diff spring relocate mounts.  17x8 with 4.5 BS 255/45/17, 18x9 with 6.5 BS 285/40/18  BFG KDWs

I didn't take the shock sizes into consideration when I ordered them....   expensive mistake.

18" wheels.  XV level 1 suspension kit.

Do you remember what the spring rates are on those XV springs and torsion bars? 

Shame those guys had to close shop, they were doing some awesome work.   Bad timing I guess.

In the front I'm running QA1 shocks in a chevy length. Theres a pin that needs to be pressed out for them to work. Mine don't bottom out and it's pretty darn low

I had Afco shocks from the XV Level 1 kit.  They are still around, someone bought the company (I don't really know the full story).  I haven't had any interactions with the new owner.

I believe XV level 1 torsion bars were around 1.06", don't remember the leaf spring info.

I just ordered some cheap ones for a 90-95 Town & Country which are about 2.5" lower, just slightly shorter than the 69 camaro ones.  I'll see if those will work for now to keep me on the road and try to come up with some mounting point extensions.

I remember the XV level 1 torsion bars being 1.12.  I could be wrong.  I never knew the actual spring rates of the rear.  I do know that they are less than factory stock, but the spring has a different shape.  I think it is flat in the front and curved behind the axle.  I have Dr.Diff relocated spring mounts and shackles to fit 295 40 18 tires in the rear.  No issues with rubbing.  And I have the Afco shocks that are valved to fit the XV kit.  I don't have bottoming issues, but I don't have it slammed all the way down either.  I do have thinner bumps stops in the front.
