Hey fellas .
I have a 1971 340 Cuda .I bought the car with a set of 17" rally's .They look fine but I would like to go for a more stock look. So I went out and bought a set of steel wheels 15x7 and 15x8 with dog dish center caps I had the wheels painted B5 blue same as the car. My original plan was to run a set of Polyglas  Goodyears so I bought f6015 for the front and L6015's for the back .But on further consideration I want a more stock appearance so I have returned the L6015's .I though about the G6015 but it still looks on the hotrod side for my taste
Here is the question
If I put a F6015 on a 15x8  wheel will it loose some over all height when compared with the 15x7 ?
If so will it be enough to notice when on the car ?
Any pics of this combo out there?

Unfortunately those calculators wont  work with the classic tire alpha numeric system they use to use. I can get it close but not an exact conversion .I know they will fit Im just curious how they will look

It will not be a noticeable differnce height wise, you will get a little more 'rounded' sidewall, which I think looks good on these cars.

I would thing the difference would be small but the bulge of the side wall will be more pronounced  on the front wheels (15x7) vs the back (15x8).

What's your alignment? If you have an aggressive radial alignment and go back to bias plys, they are going to wear out quickly and unevenly. To utilize a bis ply, you need to go back to the stock specifications.
