Needed: OEM/ Original 440 Oil Dipstick and Tube
« on: September 10, 2016 - 11:29:23 AM »
Finally had it with chrome crap....I am going back to original on my engine so I don't have to keep wrestling with leaks.
Looking for an original 440 dipstick and tube- in good condition.
Not worried about finish, as I will clean and re-paint if needed.

I just want something that will go in, work and not leak.

Thanks

I went with this one from Mancini has it has some flex when dealing with headers, wires, etc.  http://www.manciniracing.com/milbrbhemcen.html

WTF????
So they don't include the o-ring for a $55 dip stick and tube?
do you have the part number- as I will need to order it before I install it.

Geez.... Never a dull moment!

Got the dipstick tube in- after having to lightly file the end to a slight bevel...Placing it in the freezer did nothing to help us...
Anyway, it's in- snug- and not leaking like the Good 'Ol Chinese aftermarket one.
