Looking for my Challenger
« on: April 04, 2017 - 02:26:08 PM »
Hey guys!  Been a while!

I used to come here all the time, until I had to sell my one-of-none all fiberglass Challenger in 2006 due to a divorce.  I sold it in Ottawa, Ontario Canada to a father/son in Montreal Quebec.

When I called him a week later to buy it back, he had already gotten rid of it.  Apparently the kid didn't like having to climb over the rollcage to get in, and when he asked a garage to remove the cage - from a 600+ HP 440 powered all glass Chally, they scoffed, knowing that it would tear in half on the first launch!

THIS is the idiot who took my baby away!

Anyway, I want to try to find it again.  No idea if it stayed in Montreal and was registered, or put on a track, or junked.

VIN is JH23G4B191748

was emerald green with pearl coat
Black longitude stripes
mod'd 440, 727, 83/4 w' 3.91:1 gearing
Auto Pistol Grip shifter
Black rims
tubbed
caged
and all fiberglass.  lift-off hood and decklid, doors, fenders, quarters - the only steel was the roof/pillars and floors

PLEASE if anyone has seen this car in the last 10 years or knows anything of its whereabouts, please contact me at misterchapel@yahoo.com or PM me here.

thanks

The photos were a few years before I had to sell.  When sold, it had new black rims and rubber, but essentially it looked the same. Motor had a new aluminum MoPar intake and the carb was rebuilt that summer.
