My opinion: I bought a Viper last year. On doing my research I found that in 08 they updated a lot of stuff. Better cooling system, more power, better clutch, better transmission, better rear end, better exhaust system. I paid more for an 08 than I could have bought an 06 for but I would have wanted to update the 06 and it would have ended up the same price and it wouldn't be all factory. In todays exchange rate I paid $42US for my 08. I bought it off the original, 74 year old owner, no accidents (always, always check) and it had the original tires (worn evenly front and back) with 25,000 miles on it. You have to look hard but you can find a good Viper. I would keep looking, if this was exactly what you want though I agree I think it is $10k too high.
