1970 challenger fenders
« on: April 20, 2017 - 06:37:00 AM »
My '70 fenders are not true 70 fenders, the head light bezels are missing the attachment points on the fenders. two upper screw holes in the top of the bezels has no place to screw into the fenders, nothing on the fenders to screw the bezels to So instead of making them correct it maybe  better looking for both front fenders for a 70 challenger. I just don't like spending $1200-$1500 on fenders.  Does any brand fit better, AMD, Goodmark?  POSSIBLY does some one sell the headlight brackets for a 70 or does someone have trashed fenders with this part available?

I was talking with Dave from Roseville on the fit, and his reply, both are good, not perfect. You have to remember when the factory assembled the bodies, all the parts were place into a jug with high pressure clamps and forced the parts together. So, some adjustment is even needed with NOS parts. I may have a set of the headlight buckets, but won't be back home until late May or early June. If you are still looking for them when I get back, contact me via PM.

I ordered a set of AMD fenders from Dave today.   Other than missing the head light bezel attachment points my fenders are pretty much perfect, the were going to go on my rotisserie restored '70 challenger convert. I guess I can try to sell them??
