    Correct finish on hood and trunk latches

    What is the correct finish on both hood and trunk latches? Looking at putting together zinc dichromate plating kit.

    Clear/silver zinc on the trunk latch.  The hood latch is a brown finish.

    Thanks burdar. That is a strange color. Wonder if it is just an unusual chromate color (bronze)  over zinc or if its a different coating of some knin.
