Ya, I just refilled the coolant system with about a 80%/20% water/Prestone
ratio, because the more water, the better cooling.  And, put in two bottles
of Purple Ice.  Also, on Prestone bottle, it says mix with any color, so all these
diff colors seem to be a big smoke screen.

:iagree: Change the coolant every 2 years and you will be fine. :2thumbs:

60% Water to 50% Water   with 40  or 50 % of antifreeze...  is what you want  . Why ? because the antifreeze protects the Waterpump....helps against rust  and  raises the boiling point of your coolant !

Greetings Juergen

and stay with one product only...do not add or mix or whatever..  keep it simple !!

you can run 80% or 90% water when warm, and use a bottle of Purple Ice
for corrosion protection.
