14 inch factory steel stamped wheels, identification help
« on: July 17, 2017 - 12:35:24 PM »
I have (4) 14 inch steel wheels that were on a 1970 barracuda, uncertain if they are originally form this vehicle or something else. I have replaced all with new 15 inch rallye's, and plan to use one of these 14 inch for the spare setup. my question is are these 14 inch worth anything to anyone, and how do I tell what they are for or from. a few have various stamping by the stem hole. but all do not match.

I can make out a "K" stamped on the left by the valve stem hole but the other markings are not corresponding with any info I can find...

They are worth something, but value will vary quite a bit depending if they are 14x5.0, or 5.5, or 6.0, with the 14x6 being worth the most.

I recently sold a pair of '72s (14 X 5.5) with ring and centers for 80 or so. Took a while though.
Some folks know how to date. Check inside for numbers also........

they are an odd looking black steel stamp style wheel, looks like it should use a hub cap, of course the guy I bought them from claims they were expensive when he got them. (I didn't even want them but I had to buy everything including these  to get the car itself)

so, since I can't deceiver the stampings, can I just measure the rim itself to determine the width?
as they are 14" diameter, would the physical width measure out actually 5, 5.5 or 6 inches?

Check inside the rim.  If they were 15" steel rims u probably would sell them faster
